Naaraharju's innovative LoadPlate loading and containerisation solution draws on the company's 20 years of experience in designing and fabricating high-tech material handling equipment for automated storage and loading systems. LoadPlate speeds up the process of loading containers, and does so causing less damage to products as well.
Naaraharju's LoadPlate has been well-received by customers, who have found that the system's unique features offer significant benefits, particularly in terms of efficiency and speed.

| LoadPlate makes containerising high volumes of sawn timber like this a very smooth and rapid operation. |
Loads can be set up in an optimal configuration to maximise the utilisation of cargo space and improve overall economy, even before a vehicle arrives. When the load is ready, all the operator needs to do is press a button and up to 30 tonnes of cargo are fed into 20, 40, or 45-foot containers in only a few minutes, regardless of the products being loaded.
Excellent utilisation of space
High space utilisation is guaranteed using standard sea containers and trailers – with no need for costly modifications or structural changes, or even special pallets. Very high load volumes can be achieved, in excess of 60 cubic meters in a 40-foot container.
Highly efficient space utilisation does not come at the cost of increased damage to products, however, as goods are loaded as single units, instead of being moved in with forklifts or slid along the hard floors of cargo spaces.
Preparing loads in this way minimises vehicle turnaround times and saves on transportation costs.

| Even long goods, such as pipes, tubes, and profiles, as well as heavy loads weighing up to 30 tonnes, are easily containerised using LoadPlate. |
Speeding up the supply chain
LoadPlate can handle a wide variety of unit loads, such as sawn timber and pulp bales, pallets, crates, boxes, steel plate, and coils. Even long tubes, profiles, or project deliveries comprising items of varying sizes, lengths, and weights that are difficult to manage using traditional methods can be loaded very smoothly.
The LoadPlate system can increase the productivity and efficiency of any facility that handles high volumes of goods that are slow or difficult to load, or liable to damage, using conventional approaches.
Long goods are a good case in point, as they are particularly challenging for containerisation. Up to three forklifts can be needed with traditional systems, while LoadPlate only requires one person and one forklift.
Manufacturing plants that ship their products in containers can easily speed up their supply chain using the system, as can stevedoring companies and port operators that containerise products for manufacturers.
