Whatever their size, Jeven’s hoods are always designed to be easy to clean. Grease filters, condensation baffles, and supply air fascias are easily removable and can be washed in a standard dishwasher.
It’s all in the filters
Excellent filtering performance has long been a key strength of Jeven’s solutions. A good grease filter can significantly cut the amount of grease that enters ductwork – reducing the risk of fire and helping keep cleaning costs in check as well.
Based on the use of centrifugal force, Jeven’s unique fire-safe JCE cyclone filters really deliver when it comes to removing grease particles from exhaust air. Thanks to their unique construction, they always operate at a constant pressure differential and offer excellent performance, no matter how much grease builds up.
|Based on a patented rotating separation plate, Jeven’s new TurboSwing hardly ever needs to be cleaned. Capable of operating with even small airflows, it is very cost-effective.
For kitchens with particularly high heat loads, Jeven offers its UV Combilux. This cleans air in a three-step process and enables exhaust air to be fed through heat exchangers to provide additional heat for a building, which is a big plus in today’s world of ever-higher energy prices.
Jeven has now gone one stage further with the launch of the TurboSwing. Based on a patented, high-speed rotating separation plate, this can remove grease particles down to 2 microns in size and hardly ever needs to be cleaned.
After trapping particles with the help of its perforated, nano-coated surface, this plate forces them at high speed to the outer edges of the unit’s chamber. Grease and other impurities drain from here into a collection tank, which only needs to be emptied once a week or less.
The TurboSwing is ideal for energy-saving environments that employ heat recovery and varying airflows, because its separation rate remains high even when airflows are low. The TurboSwing can also filter out steam-borne grease under normal air pressure, as the grease condenses on to the separation plate due to the thin limit layers of the airflow in the unit and the rapid variations that take place in static pressure on the plate surface. The sealing flows that form on the edges of the plate prevent short-circuit flows.
A specially developed FC control unit quickly alerts personnel to any variations between planned and actual airflows and pressure levels.
