Basware and Siemens sign service deal

Siemens is one of the latest companies to turn to Basware for advanced automated solutions for its business-critical financial processes. The deal announced this month covers Basware Connectivity services. 

Basware Connectivity services includes outsourced scan and capture for transferring paper invoices into electronic format and Basware Business Transactions, which enables customers to receive and send invoices in electronic format.

The number of Siemens invoices to be handled using Basware services is expected to average approximately 1 million a year. The new solution will be implemented in Central and Southern Europe initially, with further deployments planned for 25 countries in all.
